Sulphur

The topic of sulphur has been addressed extensively in plant nutrition for more than 15 years.

  • In a plant, sulphur is involved in dozens of metabolic processes: protein formation, nitrogen metabolism, antioxidant processes, protective molecules, energy processes – Acetyl Co A...
  • The foliar application of sulphur has a negative effect on the development of certain fungi, e.g. powdery mildew, and pests, e.g. mites.
  • Foliar S-nutrition increases the vigour of the whole plant. This is reflected in the amount and quality of production.

The most sensitive to sulphur deficiency are:

  • oilseeds,
  • legumes.

Currently, sulphur deficiency is also observed in:

  • cereals,
  • corn,
  • vegetables and many other crops.
