nanotact® pHfix ( CE fertiliser )
Nanotact® pHfix is a liquid concentrate of nitrogen and potassium. Its composition means that it is an effective means of regulating the hardness of water used in connection with the application of agrochemicals. The product is a concentrated aqueous solution of potassium salts of aminopolycarboxylic acids. These are able to bind divalent and trivalent cations (mainly calcium, magnesium, iron and manganese) in the aqueous environment to form stable complex compounds (chelates), effectively preventing these ions from engaging in unwanted precipitation reactions associated with the formation of sludge and the retrogradation of plant nutrients and pesticides. When the product’s active ingredient chemically reacts to form complex cationic compounds contained in water, it also releases acid-reactive hydrogen cations, which adjust the chemical reaction to the required low-acid level (pH ≤ 7). Applying nanotact® pHfix in this way effectively masks the sludge-forming cations contained in water while also modifying the chemical reaction of the -pH system. This creates the conditions necessary to make the pesticides used more effective. Because the composition of nanotact® pHfix reduces the surface tension of the spray droplets, it also acts as a wetting agent.
